steak Simple Garlic and Thyme Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe - Personally, nothing beats a delicious grilled steak. Serve with a baked potato and some muchrooms and onions and there you have a great summertime meal.

Ingredients to make Simple Garlic and Thyme Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe

6 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
½ cup red wine
Coarse salt and pepper

Directions to make Simple Garlic and Thyme Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe

Step 1:

Smash and coarsely, chop the garlic cloves.

Step 2:

Combine the garlic, oil, red wine, and thyme in a bowl, add the steaks and turn to coat. Cover the dish and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours, turning the steaks occasionally.

Step 3:

Heat the grill to medium high and oil the grates lightly

Step 4:

Remove the steak from the steak marinade and let the excess drip off. Discard the marinade.

Step 5:

Season the steaks with salt and pepper, cut each one in half, and grill them, covered, until they are done.

Step 6:

Allow 12 to 16 minutes for medium rare.
